In 1969, Lehr cut a custom leather jacket that became an instant favorite of in-the-know icons like Steve McQueen, Ali MacGraw, Princess Margaret, and Jackie O—and after moving across the pond with his wife and skilled business partner Toni in the 1970s, Lehr’s intercontinental influences and eye for perfect fit turned the brand into a New York institution.

Eventually, the Lehrs moved the brand to the Hamptons, where it became infused with the classic, sophisticated style of one of the most exclusive areas in the world. Now led by the Lehrs’ daughter, Christina, Henry Lehr still embodies the style and ethos of our founder, with a modern approach to timeless luxury staples.
